23 April 2009, Thursday:
I gave my shift to Shikin so that I could attend my course orientation that afternoon, in hopes of having great fun with my class. Despite being pretty much of a disappointment, I didn't regret not working for my course orientation.
1R01 entered the LT as a class, but we were further separated into different groups, mixing with other classes as well. I made new friends again, and I was seated beside this girl by the name of Shasha, from 1R02.
Honestly, we didn't do much during orientation. As a matter of fact, I only had fun playing the group game outside LT.
After orientation, Farhan picked me up from school and sent me to Tampines Mall. If it wasn't for him, I would have probably done things I didn't know it would be wrong. Without him, I would have been at a lost.
With Anne, we took a cab back to TP to meet Amanda. Anne's chauffeur came to fetch us and he kindly dropped Amanda and I off at Downtown East, where both of us had our dinner at Fish & Co. Express.
Aww, I miss us.
24 April 2009, Friday:
I thought I would be late, but not too late as to desperately resort to a cab ride. In any case, I took bus 81 to Tampines bus interchange where Crystal had arranged to meet me there at 0940. For the first time in history, I actually arrived approximately fifteen minutes earlier. I contemplated on wandering off to somewhere nearby to kill my time whilst waiting for Crystal, but abandoned that thought, which was for the better.
WHY?
That's for me to know, for you to find out.
We weren't running late, but I wanted to rush off and see how long will my luck last. Still getting lucky then.
I met my cousin as well, and we went over to the laptop booth. Apparently, my daddy gave me a blank cheque. I settled for an Acer notebook without much consideration, not because I had my eyes set on that particular model. If I could, I want to own a notebook of my own design. Get my drift?
Throughout the day, I kept bumping into Lynn, which didn't seem to happen before. Nonetheless, it is always good to see her.
During lunch break, I sat with Crystal, Hamizah and Mas. I have found my bitching partners! Seriously, it was of so much fun talking to them and picking out people to gossip about.
YAY.
After the second, and the last lecture of the day, a few of us went to the bookstore to purchase the necessary textbooks. Crystal wanted to stay to spectate the wheelbarrow challenge, so we intended to go to the library while waiting for time to crawl. On the other hand, Mas and Adeline L. headed home. Crystal, Amanda and I bumped into Ming Teck and Zhi Guang, where the five of us went down to library basement to get our lecture notes.
When everyone left, Crystal and I sat outside LT 18, idling, chatting, eating, drinking and apparently doing nothing interesting. Finally, Edward, Crystal's friend, ended his lecture, and we made our way to the sports complex.
That was when my cousin embarrassed me, yelling my full name out when I didn't notice her presence. Just so you know, she was at the challenge to help out with the registration.
I parted with Crystal and Edward when Anne was done with the race. From the far right, we walked over to the left, and Ween came to find us. As soon as she left, my cousin came and talked to me about some stuff.
Anne and I headed to Tampines Mall to get our dinner there and went up to the Open Plaza after we satiated our hunger with a hearty meal. At the Open Plaza, I eventually realised my luck lasted throughout the day.
